1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using TimeToWarp(the "Service"), you ("you", "user") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service description

TimeToWarpis a transformative parody web service. You submit a URL. We fetch the page, extract its essence, and use Large Language Models to generate a new HTML page that interprets the source in the visual style of the 1996–1999 GeoCities-era web. The output is published in our gallery and bears a visible "AI Parody" watermark. The Service is operated from the United States.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not directed to children under 13 (see our Privacy Policy §8).

4. Acceptable use policy

You agree not to use TimeToWarp, including by submitting any URL, in any way that:

• Violates the law, including United States federal and state law, OFAC sanctions, export control regulations, and the law of your local jurisdiction.
• Harasses, threatens, defames, or stalks any person or entity, including via deepfake-style generation, fake quotes, or impersonation.
• Generates sexual content involving minors (CSAM). Zero tolerance. Any such submission is reported to NCMEC.
• Generates sexually explicit content, gore, or graphic violence.
• Infringes on copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other intellectual-property rights of any party. By submitting a URL, you represent that you have the legal right to do so for parody/commentary/educational purposes.
• Targets sensitive sites, including banking and financial institutions, healthcare providers, government login portals, child-targeted services, and political-campaign sites.
• Submits malware, phishing URLs, or links to illegal content.
• Bypasses or attempts to bypass rate limits, CAPTCHA, content moderation, abuse-prevention systems, IP bans, or robots.txt restrictions on the Service.
• Resells, redistributes, or rebrands Service output without our written permission.

5. User responsibility

By submitting a URL to TimeToWarp, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to submit it for transformative parody generation, that your submission falls within fair use, that it does not violate any third-party rights, and that you accept full liability for any consequences arising from your submission.

6. Intellectual property

6.1 TimeToWarp's intellectual property

The TimeToWarp codebase, design, asset library (including 1,700+ curated 1998-era GIFs), brand, trademark, and database structure are owned by TimeToWarp. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial parody generation in accordance with these Terms.

6.2 Generated outputs

Generated parody pages are transformative works that combine our curated asset library, the AI-produced HTML interpretation, and references to the source material. We do not assert ownership of source content, and we comply with takedown requests from rights holders (see §7).

6.3 Section 230 statement

TimeToWarpis an "interactive computer service" within the meaning of 47 U.S.C. §230(f)(2). Users prompt content generation by submitting URLs of their choosing; TimeToWarp provides the platform and the generative tools. We retain editorial discretion to remove any content for any reason under §230(c)(2) without forfeiting this protection.

7. DMCA notice and takedown

TimeToWarp complies with the DMCA. To file a notification, see our dedicated DMCA page, which lists the required elements and the contact for our Designated Agent. We acknowledge valid notifications within 72 hours and remove material identified by valid notifications within 5 business days.

Repeat-infringer policy (17 U.S.C. §512(i)). Three sustained DMCA strikes within any 12-month period result in permanent termination of the user's access via IP and cookie ban.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR FREEDOM FROM ERRORS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR FREE FROM DEFECTS, AND WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY GENERATED OUTPUT. AI-GENERATED CONTENT MAY CONTAIN INACCURACIES, HALLUCINATIONS, OR OFFENSIVE MATERIAL. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TIMETOWARP, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR REPUTATION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (USD $100) OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE SIX MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TimeToWarpand its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

11. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice, including for violation of these Terms, repeat infringement, or suspected fraudulent activity. The provisions of §6, §8, §9, §10, and §12 survive termination.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. Except for claims for injunctive relief or claims that may be brought in small-claims court, any dispute shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS in Santa Clara County, California.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via a banner on the site for at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance.
