Welcome to the World of Nintendo
For 109 years, Nintendo has been making games that bring families together. From hanafuda playing cards in 1889 Kyoto, to Donkey Kong in the arcade, to the Game Boy in your pocket and the Nintendo 64 in your living room — one principle has not changed: the game must be fun. This holiday season, that promise reaches a new peak with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Shigeru Miyamoto's largest game ever, and the brand-new full-color Game Boy Color that makes the world's best-selling handheld more colorful than ever.

► Display: 2.32-inch reflective TFT color, 160×144, up to 56 colors on screen

► Compatibility: 100% backwards compatible with all Game Boy and Game Boy Pocket cartridges

Pokemon Mania

With Pokemon Red and Blue still the #1 game in North America, Nintendo and Game Freak are preparing the next wave: Pokemon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition follows in 1999, taking advantage of Game Boy Color's full palette. The animated series airs every weekday morning on KidsWB, the trading card game from Wizards of the Coast hits stores in December, and the first feature film opens in Japanese theaters July 18, 1998.
